These programs are available to member school parents, administrators, and students:

Speaker Series features well-known authors, educators, and other professionals presenting on today’s issues, theories, and practices impacting our independent school community.

Lower School Forum and Member School Panels feature a current topic of interest and include speakers from our member schools and the larger community. Our Lower School Forum offers a a chance for our lower school communities to connect on topics that focus on child development.

Movie Screening features a selected film related to PCW’s annual theme. The program exists as a forum for sharing ideas, expressing concerns, and obtaining advice on parenting at every age and stage of development – whether parenting practices, dilemmas, or opportunities.

Student Leader Breakfasts provide forums for confidential peer-to-peer conversation among member school-selected student leaders. The PCW sponsors two such breakfasts, one for upper school students and another for middle school students. Both programs generate great enthusiasm, participation, and follow-up written summaries that are shared directly with member schools.

Parent Association President and PCW Representative Programs occur solely for member school Parent Association Presidents and PCW School Representatives, those parents chosen by their respective member schools as liaison to the PCW and its programs. We start off the year with Orientation in September and the PA Presidents have additional discussion times organized throughout the year.

Upper School Deans’ Program is for member school upper school deans of students to come together and confidentially collaborate on issues of shared interest, such as those raised by their students at the PCW Student Leader Breakfast.
