Good resources for media choices?

It is always helpful for a parent to be aware of the content of movies, songs and videos, so as to best guide their child and/or determine if the information presented is right or good for the child to experience.

Informed parents can better communicate, explain, talk, and help guide their children.

Even after the fact is better than not. Talk, Talk, Talk is the key. Challenging yourself to be in the "know" can be hard also. Two good and quick resources for information are: The Family Movie Goers guide in the local weekend newspaper for current movie releases; and www.commonsensemedia.org a great site for shared input as well as information about movies, videos and music.
